World Cup weirdo: This sexy model will pay you £100-a-day to watch the football from South Africa with her

A WORLD CUP mad model has offered to pay a male fan £100-a-day to watch the football with her – and explain what’s going on.

Pretty Daiyu Fang, from Beijing, China, has been turned down by all her girlfriends and has now placed an internet ad for a companion to watch the whole tournament with her.

“I have money but football isn’t very popular in China and people are too busy working,” explained Daiyu – who is determined to see every game beamed from South Africa.

“My only rules are I get to keep the remote control and there is absolutely no kissing no matter how exciting it gets on the pitch,” she told the Austrian Times.

Real-life elephant man: I just want to look normal

Meet the real-life Elephant Man.

The 28-year-old has baffled medics after growing an enormous tumour which covers his entire head and face.

Yang Huiming, who lives in rural central China, is thought to suffer from a rare condition in which benign tumours ‘bond’ with each other – resulting in a single huge growth.

In his case, it has left him with this unsightly ’trunk’ over his nose and up his forehead, reminiscent of the character played by John Hurt in the 1980 Oscar-nominated film.

The growths began with a small bean-sized lump on his left eyelid as a
toddler and quickly spread all over his face, say medics at Military 304
Hospital, in Beijing.

Surgeons believe the growths are caused by a rare deformity of Yang’s skull
which causes facial tissue to constantly grow over diseased fibres
protruding from the skull.

The enormous growth is even visible in X Rays

Now they plan to remove the damaged part of Yang’s skull and replace it with
an alloy plate to halt the constant regrowth of fatty tumours.

“All I want is to look normal.

“I hope and pray this will work,” Yang told the Austrian Times.

Woman survives 200ft fall from window…because she was wearing a puffa jacket

A STUDENT survived this astonishing 18-storey drop from an apartment block because she was wearing a thick winter coat.

Xia Ou, 26, had been hanging washing on her balcony in Beijing, China, when she slipped over the railing and hurtled nearly 200ft to the ground below.

She was found still conscious by a startled neighbour walking his dog after bouncing off a bush and then into a five inch deep snow drift, say police.

Amazed medics at Peking University Hospital have treated her for multiple fractures but say she will make a full recovery thanks to the snow, the bush and, crucially, a puffa jacket she was wearing when she fell.

Experts at the hospital estimate that she was travelling at nearly 70 mph when she hit the ground.

Professor Wing Zhang explained: “It would have been devastating if she had hit the ground directly.”

He told the Austrian Times: “Thanks to the cushioning effects of the tree, the snow and her jacket, the damage was greatly reduced.”

Brandy taster Liu Ge's nose has expanded by several inches

Brandy taster Liu Ge's nose has expanded by several inches

A BRANDY taster has been left red-faced after his nose exploded.

Veteran Liu Ge landed the plum job as a teenager and has been drinking up to two litres of strong booze every day for the last 52 years.

It is thought the 68-year-old from Beijing has put away more than 35,000 litres of brandy in that time.

And now he has finally sought medical advice for his damaged hooter.

He said: “Drinking alcohol has been just like drinking water to me.

“I had to drink sometimes two litres a day just to test the quality.”

Doctors in the Chinese capital say Liu has a condition called ‘rhinophyma’ caused by the constant expansion of blood vessels in his nose, which is now a staggering four inches long and two inches wide.
